Jennifer’s interest in midwifery began after the hospital birth of her first baby. The outcome was great but she just felt there had to be a better way. She found a midwife for her second baby and was immediately drawn to the holistic approach and care. She applied to midwifery school when her youngest was in Kindergarten and could devote time to studying. She did a three-year apprenticeship at the Katy Birth Center and graduated from The Association of Texas Midwives Midwifery Training Program.
When Jennifer is not at the birth center she is usually driving her kids to after-school activities, watching dance competitions, soccer games, or hanging out with her family at home.
