Most definitely yes! We believe childbirth is a normal, natural event that is ordained by God and when supported in the most natural way, without unnecessary interventions, will proceed in an uncomplicated delivery of a healthy baby in most cases.
While we recommend all home births be done no further than one hour from a hospital but we’d be happy to talk through all this with you so you can make the best decision possible.
Real Client Testimonial:
“As soon as we found out we were pregnant with baby #2, we knew we wanted to work the Katy Birth Center- again! Cathy was always so loving and supportive at all our prenatal visits and gave us the opportunity to make the best decisions for our family. Whenever I had a question or concern she was just a call/text away and was always so responsive!
When it came time for Baby #2 to make his appearance Earthside, I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else there to guide and support his delivery. Between her, midwife student Rachelle, my husband, and my best friend as my doula- I had the dream birth team! My labor was FAST and I felt so much comfort in Cathy’s expertise and telling me what to do and when.
Postpartum care. To be checked and loved on was so emotionally satisfying. Both Cathy and Rachelle were so sweet and loving in the times I needed, especially during our breastfeeding journey. They truly know how to help women transition to motherhood even as a second time mommy. ❤️” – KBC Homebirth Mom
